GIO Foundation helps Myrtle Beach girl to fight cancer.

Giovanna,  Gio for short, a eight year old Myrtle Beach girl, was diagnosed with a rare malignant tumor called Rhabdomyosarcoma in early April. Her parents embarked on the journey to save her life. As the girl has inadequate medical insurance coverage, GIO Foundation (which was named after Giovanna) in cooperation with NathanCan Non Profit Organization and the local business community came with the idea for a Silent Auction fundraiser.

Her Dad has donated countless hours coaching people towards their greatness and making a huge difference in their world under the Leadership program here in the Triangle. Now, it’s time for David and his family to receive.

Many local business (including complimentary medicine practitioners) donated gift certificates and services for the event.

Please, join GIO Foundation Saturday October 17, 2009 from 3PM to 7PM at 516 West Street, Downtown Raleigh for Live Music, a silent auction, great food from local restaurants, face painting and games.

$20 donation suggested.
